Finishing the paving of Derry Prince Tadros Al -Shatbi and Marmina, commentator to support development and improve services
The Governor of Assiut explained that the paving work on the Monastery of Prince Tadros Al -Shatbi for the monks in the village of Bani Shuqair – affiliated to the Manfalut Center – was carried out with a length of 1050 meters, and was carried out by the paving project in the governorate. The paving of the road extending from the Manfalut axis to the Monastery of Marmina, suspended above the foot of the mountain in Ebnoub, and the position of Ezbet Saeed in the village of Maabdah with a length of 4.5 km, achieved traffic liquidity and serves the families and visitors.
The governor indicated that the paving work was followed up on a period periodically until the completion of it, as Eng. Ahmed Salah Fakhry, Director General of the Roads and Transport Directorate, inspected the final touches of the road from the eastern side of the Nile, accompanied by Eng. Shaban Abdel Moneim, Director of Projects in the Directorate, Eng. Osama Ahmed, Director of the Divide Project Unit in the governorate, and a number of the directors of the Directorate, including Eng. Mohamed Abdel Nasser, Engineer Mohamed Mustafa, Engineer Mahmoud Salah, Engineer Zahran Zahr.
He added that these works were carried out in accordance with the standard technical specifications while adhering to the standards of quality and safety, noting that the aim of them is to improve access to the tourist and religious areas included in the governorate, including the Monastery of Prince Tadros Al -Shatbi and the suspended Monastery of Marmina, as well as providing safe and paved roads that serve the people of the villages and neighboring haww pair.
At the end of his statements, Major General Hisham Abu Al -Nasr affirmed that the province continues to implement a plan to develop and raise the efficiency of internal roads in the villages and link them to the main axes, which contributes to supporting comprehensive development efforts and improving infrastructure and services provided to citizens.
