FIBA Africa Regional Youth Camp 2025 kicks off in Egypt
Today, the FIBA Youth Camp activities began "FIBA Africa Regional Youth Camp 2025"which is held in Egypt under the supervision of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in cooperation with the American National Professional Association (NBA) and the Egyptian Basketball Federation, as this event represents a unique opportunity to develop basketball on the African continent, by providing an integrated educational environment for young players.
Camp details and times
The girls’ camp activities will be held from October 12 to 15, while the boys’ competitions will start from the 19 to the 22 of the same month. Dr. Hassan Mustafa Hall in 6th of October City hosts these events. The camp includes advanced technical and physical training under the supervision of experts from the International Federation and the NBA, which gives young players an opportunity to develop their skills and gain the necessary experience.

The camp aims to expand the base for practicing basketball in Africa and enhance Egypt’s position as a major regional center for developing the game.
