Nevin Shaaban, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Fayoum, witnessed a series of accurate surgical operations for the installation of joints at Fayoum General Hospital, as part of the activities of the presidential initiative to eliminate waiting lists, which President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi launched to alleviate the suffering of patients and accelerate their access to medical service.

These activities came in implementation of the directives of Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, and Ahmed Al -Ansari, Governor of Fayoum, and under the direct supervision of Mohamed Abdullah, Director of Al -Fayoum General Hospital, and with the participation of a group of doctors in the majors of the bone, surgery, anesthesia and technicians.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Fayoum confirmed that today witnessed a number of major operations with high skill, among them the process of a complete knee joint changing for a patient called Ibrahim, and the process of installing a completely no -seminar thigh for a lady called Jalila, in addition to the process of installing half an industrial joint of the thigh for another woman called Karima.
She pointed out that such surgical interventions come within the framework of improving the health service in the governorate and supporting patients with the latest medical techniques.
For his part, the director of the Fayoum General Hospital explained that these efforts came with the participation of an integrated medical team of orthopedics, anesthesia and surgery, along with technicians, pointing to the great support provided by the Health Directorate to overcome obstacles and provide the best care for patients.
Nevin Shaaban expressed her appreciation and thanks to the medical team, which included a group of medical competencies, among them Alaa Al -Marrakbi, head of the Orthopedic Surgery Department, and Mohamed Othman, head of the anesthesia department and the captain of Fayoum Doctors, along with a group of distinguished doctors and consultants who contributed to the success of operations.
She emphasized that the organization of such events embodies the goals of the presidential initiative to eliminate waiting lists, and expresses a humanitarian message to serve the citizens in Fayoum Governorate, where interest in the patient’s health and alleviating his pain remains a top priority in the Ministry of Health’s plan.
