The Fayoum Endowments Directorate held 150 scientific symposiums, as part of the weekly preaching program, “Majlis Al-Thikrin”, in all major mosques at the governorate level, after the sunset prayer and until the evening prayer.
These seminars come in implementation of the directives of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and under the patronage of Sheikh Salama Abdel Razek, Director of the Directorate, and under the supervision of Sheikh Yahya Muhammad, Director of Da’wah, and with the participation of a group of distinguished imams.

This week, the seminars discussed reading and explaining chapters from the Book of Remembrances by Imam Yahya bin Sharaf al-Nawawi, who died (676 AH), Chapter: “What He Says in [حال] Raising his head from bowing, and in his upright position, with the recitation of Surat Yaseen, and a gathering to pray for our Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him.
These councils come within the framework of the Ministry of Endowments’ efforts to establish rational religious awareness, enhance moral values, and connect worshipers to the correct Islamic heritage.
These councils are scheduled to continue weekly in major mosques, within the framework of the Ministry’s comprehensive advocacy and educational plan.
