The great Syrian artist, Mona Wassef, expressed her great happiness at being honored at the Bahrain Film Festival, explaining that she appreciates the audience’s love for her over the years of her artistic career.
Mona Wassef said, in television statements: Every time you honor my heart, it is a kind of beautiful terror, and I always ask myself when I see love from people and say, “Do I deserve it?” I discover a new thing of love every time that contains a kind of tenderness and motherhood. I am happy, but I am afraid of vanity, and the artist lives by loving people because in the end the money goes and the fame goes, and when the artist dies, they remember him because there is love that does not go away.
Mona Wassef’s latest work
On the other hand, the great actress Mona Wassef recently participated in the series Roxy Nights, which was shown during the 2025 Ramadan drama season. It is a Levantine drama that deals with the story of the production of the first cinematic film in Syria.
She also appeared to her fans in the series Under the Seventh Land during the same season, in addition to previous works in 2024 such as Close Your Eyes and Tag, in addition to her prominent participation in the Al-Hiba series in all its parts.
