His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, sons of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, witnessed the closing ceremony of the Jiu-Jitsu Championship organized by Elements Academy on Friday, October 17, 2025, in the presence of Dr. Abdul Rahman Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority.
Their Highnesses followed the final day of the tournament, which was held with wide participation and high technical levels, which reflects the great development witnessed by the game of jiu-jitsu in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At the conclusion of the tournament, His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Khalid Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa honored the first-place winners in the various competitions, and Mr. Ali Monfardi from the Elements Academy presented souvenirs to their highnesses in appreciation and gratitude for their presence and support.
Their Highnesses expressed their pride in the outstanding level demonstrated by the athletes, praising the spirit of competition and determination that the participants embodied throughout the tournament, stressing the importance of continuing to organize such events that contribute to strengthening the community sports culture and encouraging young people to practice combat sports, including jiu-jitsu.
