Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and CEO of the Dubai Expo City Authority, met with city and business leaders and mayors of Ukraine at Expo City Dubai, in a meeting aimed at strengthening trade and cultural relations between cities. With the increasing role of mayors and urban alliances at the forefront of dealing with global challenges, the dialogue, titled “Connecting Cities: Trade and Cultural Exchange between the UAE and Ukraine,” embodied the city’s focused efforts to build direct relationships with Ukrainian cities and regions. The meeting was attended by city leaders from eight Ukrainian cities: Vasilkiv, Zhuvkva, Sumy, Poltava, Chortkiv, Zmerenka and Horyshny.
