Today, Saturday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi called on universities, schools, and relevant state agencies to coordinate visits by students and others to Sinai, according to presidential spokesman Mohamed El-Shenawy.

This came during the major national celebration held under the title “Homeland of Peace” in the City of Arts and Culture in the New Administrative Capital, within the framework of the fifty-second anniversary of the October 6th victories.

The spokesman said that the President greeted everyone who participated in the event, including Egyptian artists, praising the important messages contained in the celebration, and called on universities, schools, and relevant state agencies to coordinate visits for students and others to Sinai.

El-Shenawy explained that Al-Sisi “immediately upon his arrival at the ceremony’s headquarters, signed a “message of peace from Egypt to the world,” which symbolizes the Egyptian state’s commitment to the approach to peace and its preservation, as a strategic choice and an established principle in its national and international policy.”

He continued that the President pointed out that “thanks must be given to God Almighty for stopping the war in the Gaza Strip and the suffering that the Palestinians went through for two years, and for Egypt’s success in its efforts in this regard, which culminated in its hosting of the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit.”

Al-Sisi explained, “The month of October is the month of victory, and that victory did not come only with the strength of the army, but first with the strength of the people, stressing that the people who refuse defeat are helped by God to achieve victory.” Emphasizing that “decision-making is a responsibility, that our cause is just, and that Egypt does not infringe on the rights of others.”
