Mustafa Negm, the former Palestine national team star and former Zamalek club player, sent a message of thanks and appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his great efforts in supporting the Palestinian cause, especially in ending the recent war on the Gaza Strip.

Mustafa Negm said in television statements: On behalf of all my people in Gaza and Palestine, we thank President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his national and humanitarian role.
The former Palestine national team star added: I communicated with my family in Gaza and they are happy that the war has ended, and Egypt was and still is a warm embrace for all of us. Egypt is the mother of Gaza and the people of Palestine.
Mustafa Negm concluded his statements by saying that the Egyptian role in supporting the Palestinian cause is historic and consistent, and that the Palestinian people will never forget Egypt’s courageous and supportive positions, whether on the political or humanitarian level.
Earlier, the Board of Directors of the Zamalek Sports Club, headed by Hussein Labib, extended its sincere congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of the signing of the agreement to end the war in Gaza during the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, which Egypt hosted today.
The Zamalek Council, headed by Hussein Labib, appreciated this historic event, which embodies Egypt’s pioneering role as the beating heart of the Arab nation and a fundamental pillar of security and stability in the region, especially since the agreement that was signed under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is an extension of a well-established Egyptian approach that combines the spirit of victory in October with the wisdom of peace in the present, to confirm that Egypt will always have the sincere word and the responsible position in consolidating security and peacemaking.
