Mohammed Abdul Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, witnessed the signing of a letter of intent between the Ministry of Education and the Digital School in the United Arab Emirates, regarding establishing a strategic educational partnership to develop technical education schools.
This came in the presence of Dr. Walid Al Ali, Secretary-General of the Digital School and Executive Director of the Office of the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Muhammad Badran, Director of Programs for the Digital School, and on the part of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, Deputy Minister, and Dr. Hanem Ahmed, Advisor to the Minister for International Cooperation and Agreements.
During the signing activities of the letter of intent, Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif praised the depth of the fraternal relations between the two countries, and the pioneering model that the UAE represents in the field of digital education, stressing that the Ministry pays great attention to continuing to implement digital transformation in the educational process, through developing curricula and making interactive electronic content available to students, noting that cooperation with the digital school enhances the Ministry’s efforts in achieving the vision of innovative modern education based on On knowledge and technology.
Signing a letter of intent for a strategic educational partnership with the digital school in the UAE
Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed during the signing ceremony that this partnership reflects the Egyptian state’s orientation towards developing technical and technical education and linking it to the local and global labor market, noting that the ministry seeks, through the Applied Technology Schools model, to prepare graduates who possess the necessary skills for the future.
For his part, Dr. Walid Al Ali, Secretary-General of the Digital School and Executive Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, expressed the UAE’s appreciation for Egypt’s great efforts to develop the education system, noting that the existing cooperation between the two sides reflects the distinguished historical relations between the two brotherly peoples, stressing that digital education represents a fundamental pillar for building the Arab human being capable of competing globally, explaining that the Emirati Digital School is one of the initiatives. A leader in this field, it seeks to expand its partnerships with Arab countries to enhance e-learning opportunities for all.
He also praised the level of cooperation existing between the two countries in the fields of education, stressing that the digital school initiative represents a pioneering platform for transferring knowledge and experience in e-learning and employing modern technologies to serve human development in the Arab world, noting that the new partnership between the two sides represents an important step towards building an Arab generation capable of competing globally in the fields of technology and innovation.
The letter of intent aims to establish a strategic partnership for the comprehensive development of technical education and international accreditation, prepare qualified graduates for the labor market, and discuss the possibility of teaching programming to them through an accredited international system similar to their peers in general education.
