Journalist Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Egyptian football star, called on engineer Hani Abu Raida to create a special department within the Football Association that would be responsible for future planning for Egyptian football, stressing that the time has come to work hard and develop a long-term vision for developing the game.
Mido’s statements regarding Dunga and Abu Rida
Mido revealed in television statements an incident that confirms the state of confusion within the football system, saying: I was a coach for the Al-Maqasa team in the past and was suspended for four matches, and after that I took over coaching Al-Ismaili and stood on the line technically leading the team, and no one noticed that, neither the match observer nor the competitions committee, and this is clear evidence of poor organization.
Mido stressed the necessity of having a professional planning department within the Football Association that follows up on all the details and ensures that things proceed professionally, away from randomness and confusion.
Journalist Ahmed Hossam Mido also confirmed that the absence of Nabil Imad Dunga from Zamalek will clearly affect the team in the upcoming Egyptian Super Championship, given his distinguished technical condition in the recent period, indicating that Dunga, in his current technical condition, his absence will affect Zamalek in the Egyptian Super Championship, because he constitutes a great balance in the half of the field.
Regarding the young Zamalek player Mahmoud Jihad, Mido said: Mahmoud Jihad would not have missed participating with Pharco before joining Zamalek, and he is surprised by his continued absence and the many injuries he has faced since then.
Mido concluded his speech by stressing that Zamalek needs to take advantage of all its ready elements in the next stage, especially with the pressure of matches.
