Within two hours of receiving the report, the Bur Dubai Police Station was able to identify two masked thieves who stole 660,000 dirhams, and thwart their plan to flee outside the country with the stolen money, by arresting them at Dubai International Airport before they boarded the plane. In the details, the Bur Dubai Police Station explained that the two thieves planned to rob a large supermarket, and late at night they went to the back door and made a hole in it using sharp tools, then entered it, went to the accounting office and broke 4 boxes containing 60 thousand dirhams.
