The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by the municipality of Abu Dhabi City, in cooperation with the integrated transportation center, has completed the work of developing the entrance to the Shahama area, and the establishment of additional parking lots, which contributes to raising the efficiency of the road network, achieving greater flow in traffic, and enhancing life quality standards. The development work aimed to enhance the flow of traffic in peak times, by increasing the capacity of the entrance by 50%. The municipality also sought within the business to create and increase the number of parking lots in the region, for the comfort of the population and visitors, as the first phase of the development of the parking infrastructure in the Shahama area has implemented along the commercial buildings tape
