During the interview with Al-Sawra program with Lamees Al-Hadidi, which is broadcast on Al-Nahar channel, Al-Khatib revealed many details about his decision to retire and then withdraw from it.
Al-Khatib also revealed the behind-the-scenes selection of the members of his electoral list, led by businessman Yassin Mansour, the candidate for the MP seat, as well as the selection of Captain Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the nature of his mission during the coming period, and the reasons for hiring him after he left Al-Ahly Club when he was football director of the first team.
Al-Khatib also revealed the duties of Khaled Murtaji, the candidate for the treasurer seat.
He touched on his health condition, revealing for the first time the French doctor’s message to him, and his family’s reaction to that message.
