Today, Wednesday, the platform of Ramses station in Cairo witnessed a limited accident after train No. 810 coming from Kafr El-Sheikh in Cairo collided with the end of platform No. 3, one of the platforms in Lower Egypt, while entering the station.
Informed sources at the Railway Authority reported that the train collided with the concrete barrier at the end of the platform while entering Misr Station at a low speed, which led to its sudden stop.
The leaders of the Railway Authority and the operation and maintenance officials moved to the site of the accident to monitor the situation on the ground, where the tractors were separated from the cars and a technical inspection began to determine the exact causes behind the accident.
