
Hisham Abdul Rahman Al Rais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Watan newspaper, received Faisal Al-Ali, the new editor-in-chief, at the newspaper’s headquarters, where he congratulated him on the confidence in assuming the position, wishing him continued success in his new duties.
Al Rais stressed that “Al-Watan” is continuing to implement its comprehensive development plan, aiming to strengthen its presence as a leading national media institution that combines professionalism and responsibility, and keeps pace with the rapid transformations in the media scene locally and regionally, in line with the comprehensive development vision of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and with the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince. Al-Ahed Prime Minister, may God protect him.
Al Rais expressed his confidence that Faisal Al-Ali assuming the editor-in-chief will represent a qualitative addition to the newspaper’s history, given his extensive media experience and renewed vision in the fields of digital development and media transformation, stressing that the next stage will witness qualitative steps in modernizing the work system and expanding the horizons of institutional media cooperation.
For his part, Faisal Al-Ali expressed his pride in the precious trust, stressing his determination to continue the newspaper’s approach in consolidating national and professional values, and enhancing its presence as a national platform that reflects Bahrain’s voice and its media leadership in various forums.
The meeting was attended by Moaz Busaiba, Managing Director of Al-Watan Press and Publishing Company, and Salman Al-Wardi, Director of Operations, where the features of the next phase and development plans for the newspaper were reviewed.
