CAF adjusts the date of the match between Zamalek and Somali Dekedaha in the Confederation

Zamalek Club received an official notification from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), stating that the date of the first football team’s match against Dekedaha of Somalia in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Confederation Cup, scheduled for today, Saturday, at Cairo International Stadium, was modified to be held at seven in the evening instead of six.

This came at the request of the Somali club, in coordination with Zamalek, due to satellite broadcast rights for the match.

The Confederation of African Football officially notified the two clubs to postpone the start of the match by one hour, to be held at seven in the evening today.

The return match between the two teams is scheduled to take place at six in the evening next Friday, at Al Salam Stadium.

Zamalek is expected to play the match with a formation consisting of:

Goalkeeper: Mohamed Awad

In the defense line: Ahmed Fattouh – Mahmoud Al-Wansh – Mohamed Ismail – Omar Jaber

In the midfield: Ahmed Hamdy – Ahmed Rabie – Nasser Maher

In the attacking line: Juan Bezerra – Amr Nasser – Chico Panza

Zamalek will miss Mahmoud Bentayj, Nabil Imad Donga, Abdullah Al-Saeed, Mohamed Shehata, Adam Kayed, Uday Al-Dabbagh and Nasser Mansi from the Dekedaha match.

The absences include injuries and muscle fatigue, in addition to the absence of Mahdi Suleiman and Ahmed Abdel Rahim Esho, based on a technical point of view.
