The exchange rate of the US dollar against the pound today, Thursday, October 2, witnessed a remarkable decline during the morning trading, within a number of banks operating in the banking sector, as the dollar’s decline in a number of banks recorded about 13 piasters, and the average exchange rate of the US dollar within the central bank recorded about 47.79 pounds for purchase – 47.93 pounds for sale.
This decline came in conjunction with the announcement of the Central Bank of Monetary Policy Committee, the decision to pay the interest and lending price yesterday, Thursday.
