Batelco Center for Family Stability Foundation “Mustaqra”, in cooperation with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, is preparing to launch the first edition of the “Affection and Mercy” conference under the slogan “Family Identity in Light of Contemporary Challenges”, on Saturday, November 1, 2025, in the conference hall of the Gulf Hotel, with the participation of an elite group of experts and specialists in the fields of law, family and society in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
In this regard, Mr. Mohsen Ali Al-Ghurairi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Batelco Center for Family Stability, confirmed that organizing the conference comes as an extension of the national efforts aimed at enhancing family stability, consolidating the values of affection and compassion, and discussing the social, digital and cultural challenges witnessed in the modern era.
Al-Ghurairi added that the conference aims to highlight the status of family identity as a fundamental pillar of national identity, and to review the most prominent institutional experiences and successful models in supporting family cohesion and enhancing integration between the governmental and private sectors, in a way that contributes to the development of national policies and initiatives that maintain the cohesion of the social fabric and enhance the values of belonging and shared responsibility.
Al-Ghurairi praised the strategic partnership with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, stressing that it represents a model of constructive cooperation between national institutions to serve the Bahraini family and support community initiatives that contribute to building a cohesive and stable society based on authentic values and a comprehensive identity.
Al-Ghurairi explained that the conference includes interactive dialogue sessions with the participation of an elite group of academics, experts, consultants, and representatives of official institutions and relevant civil society organizations, to discuss topics including digital transformations, value identity, building a conscious family, and the role of the legislative authority and educational and media institutions in promoting family belonging.
The organization of the “Affection and Mercy” conference comes within the framework of the vision of the Batelco Center for Family Stability Foundation “Mustaqara”, which aims to contribute to building a cohesive and stable society based on authentic values and a comprehensive identity, which reflects its commitment to supporting national initiatives that enhance family stability and social cohesion.
