Today, the “Asian Youth Games” competitions continue, as the second day of the continental event witnesses the start of beach volleyball competitions on the “Sama Bay” courts, with the participation of the Bahrain boys and girls teams, where the boys team will meet its Sri Lankan counterpart at 6:00 pm, while the girls team will meet the Maldives team at the same time.
In handball, the young Bahraini team will play its second match in the group stage when it meets the Maldives team at 7:00 pm at the Handball Federation Hall in the sports hall complex in Umm Al Hassam.
The national team hopes to continue its strong performances and achieve its second victory after its well-deserved victory yesterday over the Hong Kong national team in the opening match, amid expectations of continuing victories. Due to the technical differences with the Maldivian national team, which lost its first meeting against Saudi Arabia by a large margin.
This match is an important milestone in the team’s journey towards competing for an Asian medal, in light of the great ambitions placed on the Bahraini handball game.
As for the Kabudi competitions, the Bahrain national team will play two matches in the morning against the teams of Thailand and Iran, as part of competitions held in Hall D of the Issa bin Rashid Sports Hall Complex in Riffa, as the team seeks to achieve positive results in its first participation.
The tournament will also witness the launch of the “Tech Ball” competition, which will be held in Hall 10 of the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, with the participation of our boys and girls teams.
In indoor volleyball, the Bahrain men’s national team begins its competitive journey with a strong confrontation against the Pakistani national team at seven o’clock in the evening at the Federation Hall, where the team aspires to achieve the first victory and take a step towards qualifying for the second round in light of the strong competition expected between the participating teams. On the other hand, the girls’ team will face a difficult challenge when it meets its Iranian counterpart at 7:00 pm at the Table Tennis Federation hall in the Issa bin Rashid halls complex.
