The Bahraini teams continue their distinguished presence in the third Asian Youth Games, hosted by the Kingdom, as our national teams participate in the third day of competition with a group of matches in various team and individual games.
At the boys’ volleyball level, the national team seeks to make up for its loss in the opening match against Pakistan, when it faces its counterpart, the Mongolian national team, at 7:00 pm at the Al-Ittihad Al-Fifa hall in the Issa bin Rashid Sports Hall Complex, as part of the group competitions.
As for girls’ table tennis, our team will play its second match in the group stage, where it will meet its Qatari counterpart at 7:00 pm in the Table Tennis Federation hall, in a confrontation in which the team will look to enhance its chances of reaching the advanced rounds.
In beach volleyball, the boys’ team will play its second day in the tournament with two strong matches, the first against Indonesia at 2:00 pm, and the second against Thailand at 7:00 pm. The girls’ team will also have two exciting confrontations on Sama Bay Beach, where they will meet Jordan at 3:00 p.m., then Thailand at 9:00 p.m.
In the kabaddi competitions, the national team will play its fourth match in the competition when it meets the Iranian national team at 11:00 am in Hall D of the Issa bin Rashid Sports Hall Complex, seeking to achieve a positive result that will strengthen its position in the standings.
As for the game of tic-ball, Bahraini participation continues with the start of the doubles competitions, where the boys’ team faces the Philippines, Thailand, India, Iraq and Cambodia in group stage matches in the morning, to determine who qualifies for the knockout rounds in the competition.
