The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s condemnation of the Knesset’s approval of two draft laws aimed at imposing Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and illegal settlements, as a flagrant violation of international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions.
The Ministry affirmed that the Kingdom welcomes the stated position of His Excellency US President Donald Trump, guaranteeing that the occupied West Bank will not be harmed as part of his appreciated efforts to promote comprehensive peace in the region. The Ministry urges the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations. The Ministry calls on Israel to stop the escalation and illegal measures. It also stresses the importance of fulfilling the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, as this path is essential for achieving a just and lasting peace that guarantees security and stability in the region.
