As part of its continuous efforts to enhance health awareness among all its members, the Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Company (ASRY) organized an awareness event on breast cancer prevention, in coordination and cooperation with HiCare Medical Center. The event was held at the company’s headquarters in Hidd, amid the presence and intense interaction of the company’s female employees. The event included an awareness lecture presented by a specialized medical team, which addressed the importance of early screening, factors that help in prevention, and methods of self-examination, in addition to correcting some common concepts about the disease. It also included conducting free medical examinations, in coordination with the participating medical staff, with the aim of educating attendees about the necessity of early examination to limit the spread of the disease, increase the chances of recovery, and improve the quality of life. In addition, a mini exhibition was organized on the sidelines of the event, with the participation of a number of the Kingdom’s pharmacies, which provided the participants with a range of health and beauty products.
