An American couple caused a stir after they transformed their home into… decor A house was burning, to celebrate the approaching Halloween, and passers-by notified the fire brigade, as they thought the house was burning for real.
The American couple, Amanda Biden and Sam Lee, are known for their intense love for Halloween celebrations and inventing unusual Halloween decorations. The couple previously presented a model of a crashed plane and a car accident in previous celebrations, until they came up with the idea of a burning house this year. The couple used artificial lighting, light effects, and unreal smoke, but the house appeared as if it was actually burning.
An American couple starts a fire in their home
According to what was published in the British newspaper Daily Mail, the South Carolina Fire Department received a large number of calls after the couple prepared a very realistic display on the occasion of Halloween, as passers-by and neighbors saw bright yellow lights in every window of the house in Fountain Inn, and white smoke rising from under the front porch awning.
The local fire department received many reports that the house was on fire, and some people went to the fire station immediately after seeing the display, because it is located only one block away. Every time this happens, the fire department is forced to send a truck to the house to make sure that a real fire does not break out.
Russell Alexander, Chief of the Fire Department, explained in television statements that not sending a truck is considered inappropriate behavior, and from an ethical standpoint, I cannot bear this responsibility. If we receive any call, we will send a truck no matter what, especially since the Fire Department received about 30 calls regarding the house.
