The competent authorities decided to place a newborn baby who was found next to a garbage dump near the Samalut axis in Minya Governorate in a nursing home.
The security services in the Minya Security Directorate received a report from the police that a signal had been received that the family had found an infant next to a garbage dump in the Samalut Center district.
Immediately, the security services moved to the location of the report and found a newborn infant. The Maternal and Childhood Unit in Samalut was assigned to follow up on his condition and place him in a nursing home and write a pregnancy report No. 5231 administratively at the West Samalout Center.
The security services are intensifying their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident and examining the surveillance cameras surrounding the place.
Legal measures were taken, and the competent authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
