The local unit of the Al-Wasti Center and City, headed by Hamada Radi, responded to the complaint of citizens in the center’s affiliated village of Abu Sir Al-Malak, regarding a sewage leak near Al-Maasara Hospital, within the framework of the directives of Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef, to quickly respond to the complaints of the people and continue field work to raise the efficiency of services and improve the level of public facilities in the villages.
After receiving the complaint, immediate action was taken to the site of the report, and a number of sweeping vehicles belonging to the local unit were dispatched to suck out the accumulated amounts of water and completely dry the area, in order to preserve public health and prevent the spread of unpleasant odors or water leakage into neighboring homes.
The unit also continued the work of removing disinfection products from the roundabout area surrounding the hospital, and removing any accumulations resulting from water, in addition to implementing an expanded cleaning campaign that included the vicinity of Al-Masara Hospital and a number of main streets in the village, to ensure the return of the civilized appearance and improve the street environment for citizens.
In the same context, it was emphasized that sanitation work in the village of Maasra Abu Sir will continue to be monitored to ensure that the networks operate regularly and that they are free of any blockages or leaks, with continuous coordination with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to quickly deal with any emergency in this regard.
Hamada Radi, head of the center, confirmed that the local unit continues its daily efforts in various service sectors, and pays special attention to citizens’ complaints, in implementation of the governor’s directives to take immediate action and field interaction with problems, ensuring improvement in the quality of services provided to citizens and enhancing community participation in monitoring any observations or problems in the villages.
