In a special episode of his famous program One of the People on Al-Hayat Channel, journalist Dr. Amr El-Laithi will host the makers of the film Al-Manbar, winner of the Best Film Award at the Alexandria International Film Festival, at 9:30 pm next Monday.

Participating in the episode are Ahmed Abdel-Al, the director of the film, Fidaa Al-Shandawili, the writer of the work, and a number of the film’s heroes, including Mido Adel, Omar Al-Saeed, Youssef Ismail, and the child Amira Shuqair, along with Adel Haqqi, the composer of the soundtrack, and Ali Adel, the director of photography.
The episode’s guests reveal the scenes of filming the film, which combines drama and documentation, and monitors the national and historical role played by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif over the decades. They also talk about the great support Al-Azhar provided to industry professionals, as filming took place inside the office of the Grand Imam and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque, after obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Antiquities.
Pulpit movie
The pulpit movie includes an elite group of stars, including Mohamed Adel “Mido Adel,” Ahmed Hatem, Ahmed Fahim, Omar Al-Saeed, Ayten Amer, Kamal Abu Rayya, and Sameh Al-Sariti. The work is written by Fidaa Al-Shandawili and directed by Ahmed Abdel-Al, and its events revolve around a number of sheikhs of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, who ascended its great pulpit, and their role in defending religion and the homeland throughout the ages.
The One People program will be broadcast at 9:30 pm next Monday on Al-Hayat channel.
