Our national handball team player, Ali Sami, confirmed that the victory in the opening match against the Hong Kong team is an important step in the team’s journey in the Asian Games, expressing his and his teammates’ happiness with this victory, which gave the team a strong morale boost from the beginning.
He added that the team played a good match and showed a distinguished level, although the team still has a lot to offer in the upcoming matches, indicating that the performance will gradually develop as harmony increases and the players enter the tournament atmosphere.
Sami explained that winning the first match is of great importance from a psychological and technical standpoint, as it gives the team the confidence necessary to continue in the same way and achieve positive results in the rest of the journey, adding: “We will deal with each match separately and with high focus, as our goal is to achieve victory in every confrontation and present an honorable image for Bahraini handball.”
