Our national beach volleyball team player, Hassan Al-Warqa, expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance at the beginning of its competitive journey, stressing that the team did not appear as it had hoped for in the first match, despite the positive start and good performance in the first half.
Al-Warqaa said in his statement: “We entered the match with a high spirit and started well in the first half, but we were not successful in maintaining the rhythm in the second half, and we missed many easy points that could have changed the result. I believe that the pressures accompanying the start of the tournament had a clear impact on our performance.”
He added: “We are aware of our mistakes and we will work to correct them quickly, and we are determined to come back strong in the rest of the competition matches in order to present a different picture.”
