South Sinai Governorate is one of the most important tourist governorates in Egypt, as it includes many tourist, cultural, therapeutic and religious cities, and one of the most important cities that are distinguished by all of this is the city of Ras Sidr, the first city of the province.

Al -Jundi Castle is one of the most important cultural tourist attractions
The Citadel of the soldier is one of the most prominent attractions of cultural tourism in South Sinai, and it is one of the castles that was built by Nasser Salahuddin Al -Ayyubi between 1183 to 1187 AD.
The castle is also known as the Sidr Castle, consisting of granite, limestone and sandstone, located 70 km from the head of Sidr, on the head of the soldier’s head, which reaches a height of 2150 feet above sea level.
The castle includes a mosque built of granite and limestone and sandstone, and it consists of several levels. The castle also contains three tanks and a group of rooms, which indicates the ancient Egyptian genius in design, and makes it one of the best places of visit in Ras Sidr.
Sulfur water heals many diseases
Sulfur eyes in the city of Ras Sidr are hot natural springs that come out of the ground, located south of Ras Sidr, about 250 km from Cairo, and can be reached through the Cairo -Suez Desert Road, then pass through the tunnel of the martyr Ahmed Hamdi, then follow the Ras Sidr road, and in the middle of the mountains these eyes are called, and it is called Ain Sidr.
Ain Sidr is located in the desert in a place called Wadi Al -Asal, and it is about 9 kilometers from the head of Sidr.
After the water comes out of the ground, it goes through a 100 -meter channel until it settles in a depression of about two meters, resembles a natural swimming pool, which makes Ain Sidr one of the best medical tourism destinations in Egypt.
