All the female students injured in a semi-truck overturning accident on the Kafr Shukr – Al-Mufti road left the hospital after receiving the necessary medical care. It was found that their injuries were minor, and their health condition was fully checked.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Qalyubia Governorate confirmed that he has been monitoring the health status of the female students since the accident occurred, moment by moment, and directed that full support be provided to them and their families, noting that he will pay a symbolic visit to them tomorrow in appreciation of their high spirits and in order to reassure their families.
The road had previously witnessed an accident in which a semi-transport vehicle carrying a number of female students at the Kafr Shukr Technical Secondary School overturned, resulting in the injury of 11 students and teachers. They were then transferred to the Kafr Shukr Specialized Hospital and the Health Insurance Hospital in Benha to receive treatment.
The security services of the Qalyubia Security Directorate received a report from the people about the accident, and the police and ambulance forces moved to the location of the report, where it was found that the car collided with a tree on the Kafr Shukr – Al-Mufti road in front of the village of Kafr Marwan, which led to it overturning inside agricultural land.
Initial investigations revealed that the driver fled through the fields following the accident because he did not have a license for the car, and efforts are being intensified to arrest him.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigation authorities took up their work to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
