The English newspaper The Athletic confirmed that there are several measures taken by Alonso to reduce the privacy problem, one of which stipulates that only truly necessary crew members are allowed to be present during training sessions.
The same applies to access to the dressing room during matches. Alonso has reduced the number of people around the team before matches and at half-time, with the aim of creating a greater feeling of privacy and focus. After the final whistle, the doors are opened for all crew members to be with the team normally.
At the same time, access to the training center areas by members of the players’ circles has been restricted, after it was previously common for family members, agents or even friends to attend there, according to the report.
He called on Alonso and his technical staff to maintain confidentiality, so that the dressing room would be a safe place from which nothing would leak to the media.
The newspaper reported that in recent seasons, it was common for Real Madrid’s starting lineup to be leaked to the press in advance, which forced the club to regularly announce its lineup more than two hours before matches.
Alonso tested the team on this matter during his first squad.
