About the culture of Bangladesh.. The first episode of the Al-Azhar Forum for People’s Cultures launches here

The first episode was presented by Tawhid Al-Islam, a student from Bangladesh, studying at the Faculty of Islamic Da’wah at Al-Azhar University. He provided an introductory overview of his country located in South Asia, its capital (Dhaka), its official currency the Bangladeshi taka, and its official language Bengali.

He explained that the population of his country is 176 million people, and that Islam is the official religion followed by the majority of the population, pointing out that Bangladesh is one of the countries rich in rivers, forests and natural resources, and is distinguished by its ancient popular culture, which is characterized by traditional crafts.

This video comes within the joint cooperation between the Development Center and the International Student Committee of the International Islamic Council for Preaching and Relief, headed by Dr. Nahla Al-Saidi. This is within the framework of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif’s keenness to enhance cultural communication among its students of different nationalities, to introduce them to their countries and their diverse cultures, and to highlight the cultural diversity that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif embraces.
