Journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour revealed the details of the crisis that Moroccan Abdelhamid Maali, the young Zamalek player, is going through, stressing that the player is experiencing a difficult psychological state during the current period due to his feeling of alienation and distance from his family.

Al-Ghandour explained in media statements that His Excellency asked the Zamalek administration to bring his mother and his cousin to stay with him in Egypt, according to what was stated in his contract with the club, which stipulates that Zamalek will sponsor their travel tickets, but the administration has not sent the tickets yet.
He added that Zamalek goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi supported the player during his crisis, as he loaned him some money and hosted him at his house more than once to eat, and the player has major problems with food and housing.
Al-Ghandour pointed out that the club is suffering from a major financial crisis that has affected its dealings with the players, stressing that His Excellency is experiencing extreme sadness and is thinking about returning to his country because of his feeling of loneliness and the absence of psychological support within the team.
