At its session yesterday, the Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes for 13 tenders and bids, for which 62 companies competed, the most prominent of which was the reclamation works project in the Raya Suburb project, between the southern side of the Diyar Al Muharraq project and the existing coast of the Busaiteen area, with the lowest bid estimated at 94 million dinars.
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning issued a tender for settlement and infrastructure works for 116 residential plots of land in Al Daih, Plot 422. The works include sanitation, rainwater drainage, water supply, electricity, telephone, street lighting, excavation, paving, and road works, and 18 bids were submitted, the lowest of which was worth 1.7 million dinars.
Bapco Exploration and Production presented a tender to provide the services of highly trained, professional security personnel to support and meet operational and safety requirements at all of its operational sites, facilities and vital infrastructure, in a way that ensures the protection of assets and individuals and uninterrupted business continuity, for which 10 companies submitted, and the lowest bid is estimated at 1.2 million dinars.
It submitted a second tender to supply mother tubes and hot induction tubes, which will be used in the Bahrain field, and was presented with a bid from one company worth 114.8 thousand dinars.
The Ministry of Public Works submitted a tender for reclamation work in the Raya project, which includes dredging, backfilling and beach protection, in addition to establishing a rainwater pumping station in the Raya suburb in Bahrain.
The site is located between the southern side of the Diyar Al Muharraq project and the existing coast of the Busaiteen area. The project includes the construction of the Raya suburb with an estimated area of 4,438,830 square metres, and an estimated backfill volume of 13,728,013 cubic metres. Four bids competed for the tender for the reclamation work for the project, with the lowest being 94 million dinars.
The Ministry also submitted a second tender for a project to build a primary treatment plant in the Hidd Industrial Zone, with a capacity of 24 thousand cubic meters per day. In addition to building a new main line with a diameter of 1,000 mm and an approximate length of 364 meters to transport wastewater to connect the primary treatment plant to the main deep sewage line currently in place, and 6 companies competed for it with the lowest bid amounting to 4.6 million dinars.
Four companies competed for a tender issued by the Ministry of Works for urgent and temporary maintenance work in the event of a street collapse, burying and leveling dirt roads in new residential areas, and maintenance of traffic signals, etc. The lowest bid was 1.1 million dinars.
In another tender, the Ministry of Public Works requested the modernization and renewal of firewall systems, to which one company submitted a bid estimated at 57 thousand dinars.
The Electricity and Water Authority submitted a tender to replace the 66 kilovolt electrical rail protection panels in the electricity transmission stations, which have been operating for more than 20 years, and 6 companies offered it, the least of which was 90.9 thousand dinars.
While the General Sports Authority expressed its desire to develop the facilities in sports facilities through maintenance of elevators, it was presented with 3 bids, the least of which was 20.3 thousand dinars. It also invited a second tender to maintain the results lists for sports facilities located in various locations, and one bid was submitted to it with a value of 3.2 thousand dinars.
The Information and e-Government Authority requested the provision of health insurance services to some of the Authority’s beneficiaries, and accordingly, a tender was presented to it by one company, worth 38.9 thousand dinars.
The House of Representatives announced the launch of a tender to provide transport and communications services within the activities of the regular meeting of the heads of the Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which will be held in Bahrain during the period from November 10 to November 14, and two companies are offering it, the least of which is 4.9 thousand dinars.
Meanwhile, Al Dana Theater submitted a bid to rent facilities for selling food and drinks in the theatre, and 6 companies offered it, the least of which was 9.9 thousand dinars.
