The village of Kafr Dima, affiliated to the Kafr El-Zayat Center in Gharbia Governorate, witnessed an unfortunate incident after a predatory dog attacked a number of residents, resulting in the injury of 3 people, including a child, a woman, and an elderly person, with separate injuries to the hands.
A stray dog bites a number of citizens
The Major General, Director of Gharbia Security, received a notification from the Brigadier General, the warden of the Kafr El-Zayat Police Station, that a report had been received from the residents that a stray dog had attacked the citizens inside the village of Kafr Dima.
A security force from the criminal investigation department in the Kafr El-Zayat police station, under the supervision of Major Ahmed Shiha, head of investigations at the Kafr El-Zayat police station, moved to the place of the report. Inspection and examination revealed that Aida Ahmed Ibrahim, 25 years old, had a laceration wound in the left hand, Ahmed Muhammad, 4 years old, had a laceration wound in the left hand, and Sedqi Anwar, 75 years old, had a laceration wound in the right hand.
The injured were transferred to Kafr El-Zayat General Hospital to receive the necessary first aid and anti-rabies serums, while residents continue to chase the dog through the streets of the village to prevent a recurrence of the attack.
The concerned authorities in Gharbia are intensifying their efforts to follow up on the health condition of the injured and take the necessary measures regarding the incident.
