Hussein Abdul Rahman Abu Saddam revealed an expected increase in the prices of red meat and dairy within days, coinciding with the winter season.
Abu Saddam told Cairo 24 that the prices of live meat will rise significantly by about 20 pounds per kilo, and the price of a kilo of milk will increase by about 5 pounds, explaining: The winter is the season for growing clover, and a large number of citizens, merchants, and breeders agree to buy cows.

The head of the General Farmers Syndicate continued: The general atmosphere during the winter season will lead to an increase in some products, such as poultry, especially since the movement in the prices of live cows will lead to an increase in slaughtered meat.
He explained that the price of a kilo of live meat from cows will rise from 150 to 170 pounds, and the price of a kilo of buffalo meat will rise from 145 to 155 pounds.
