The return of Al-Riffa Club player Ahmed Nabil to the field will be delayed after he suffered a setback during the treatment and rehabilitation phase, following the surgery he underwent months ago on the anterior cruciate ligament with meniscus reconstruction last April specifically.
Nabil was supposed to return to participation in the middle of the current season or by next February, after he had made great strides in his rehabilitation program, but the recent setback he suffered caused his return to be postponed for a longer period than expected.
According to current data, the player’s absence may extend until the end of the season, or his return may occur at the start of the next season, depending on the development of his condition and his response to treatment during the coming months.
Ahmed Nabil is considered one of the important pillars in the ranks of Riffa and the defense line, and his absence represents a loss for the team as it seeks to continue competing in local championships this season, and his injury made him out of the accounts of our national team coach Dragan.
