A state of controversy arose recently, after the anger of the children of artists over the clip of the Syndicate of Acting Professions Theater Festival, where many of the children of artists expressed their dissatisfaction after the names of their parents were not shown in the video clip.
Accordingly, the management of the Acting Professions Syndicate Festival announced the presentation of a new version of the clip from “Once Upon a Time,” in order to reconcile the children of the artists who were angry with the clip because their father was ignored in the clip.
A promise that was not fulfilled.. Why did the Acting Professions Syndicate not fulfill its promises with the artists’ children after the Tamer Hosni music video controversy?
Despite the union’s promise to present a new version of the festival’s clip, the union has so far not fulfilled its promise to the artists’ children, as the closing ceremony was presented last Saturday, without a new version of the clip or without disclosing the reason for not re-presenting the clip from Once Upon a Time, which has increased the anger of the artists’ children, after their state of anger was ignored, and the union’s promise to them was not implemented.
Cairo 24 contacted the artist Sameh Bassiouni, vice president of the festival, who confirmed in his statements that the union had resubmitted a new version of the clip, to please the artists’ children, but by returning to YouTube and the home page of Tamer Hosni and the festival, it became clear that this version had not been presented, and that the existing version of the clip was only the first version.
Earlier, a number of artists’ sons criticized the management of the Egyptian Theater Syndicate of Acting Professions Festival, including the son of the artist Mohamed Awad, the son of the artist Hassan Youssef, and the daughter of director Jalal El-Sharqawi.
