Counselor Ahmed Helmy, Al-Sherif, head of the Egyptian national team’s delegation in Morocco, confirmed that the atmosphere in the Pharaohs’ camp was dominated by a state of focus and calm before facing Djibouti in the World Cup qualifiers, noting that the atmosphere in Morocco was better than expected.
Ahmed Al-Sharif’s statements about Salah’s session
Ahmed Helmy Al-Sherif explained in television statements that Mohamed Salah and a number of senior players held a session with their colleagues, during which they stressed the importance of the match and the need to focus in order to finish it in favor of the team and officially qualify for the World Cup.
Ahmed Al-Sharif said that the national team delegation received a wonderful reception from the brothers in Morocco, praising the warm welcome and distinguished organization that the team received since its arrival there.
The head of the mission added that all players have one goal, which is to advance to the World Cup, stressing that the high spirit and discipline within the camp give great confidence in the team’s ability to qualify during tomorrow’s match.
A member of the Football Association’s Board of Directors concluded his speech by stressing that the atmosphere is positive and fully prepared for the match, and that everyone within the team has the motivation and determination to achieve victory and make the Egyptian fans happy.
Earlier, Egypt’s first national football team, led by Hossam Hassan, concluded its training today, Tuesday, at Al-Arabi Al-Zawali Stadium in Morocco, in preparation for the Djibouti match scheduled for 7 pm tomorrow, Wednesday, in the ninth round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup finals.
