Because he was going through a financial crisis that worsened his psychological state, a merchant committed suicide, slaughtering himself inside his home in one of the villages of the Itsa Center, Fayoum Governorate. The body was transported to the hospital morgue, and a report was drawn up regarding the incident.
A merchant slits his life due to financial hardship in Fayoum
The beginning goes back to Major General Ahmed Ezzat, Director of Fayoum Security, receiving a notification from the warden of the Itsa Police Station, stating that a report had been received that a merchant, in his thirties, residing in the Ramzi facility in the village of Shadmouh, in the center’s district, had committed suicide by slitting his throat, in his room in his family’s home, after going through a financial crisis.
Immediately, security forces and ambulances moved to the scene of the incident, asking his family members, who stated that he had committed suicide due to his financial distress, and the body was transferred to the morgue of the Central Hospital of Itsa.
Preparing a report on the incident
Following the investigation, the Public Prosecution ordered the forensic medicine to be assigned to examine the body of the deceased, to ensure that there is no other suspicion that may have caused the death, and then to issue a burial permit.
The Cairo 24 website warns against suicide, calling on those who have such thoughts to go to a psychiatrist in an attempt to solve their problems, what they may be exposed to, and to think positively about the continuity of life that God has given to man. Cairo 24 hopes to go to the specialist doctor and present themselves to those concerned to solve the problem.
