A state of sadness prevailed inside a house in the Helwan area, after Mona Muhammad Hegazy Naguib, 27 years old, who works as a maid for a family, has been absent since the morning of September 28, after she left her home on Haidar Street in Helwan, and has not returned yet.
A maid from Helwan has been absent for 12 days
The security services received a report from her family about her absence, bearing No. 8245 of 2025, Helwan Administrative Office. Surveillance cameras recorded the moment she left the property and took a tuk-tuk in front of the house, after which she completely disappeared without her fate being known until now.
Her father, Mohamed Hegazy, told Cairo 24: Mona left the house in the morning like every day, going to work with a woman who lives in the same building. She got into a tuk-tuk and did not return. The cameras filmed her while she was leaving, and after that there was no news about her. Her young son asked about her every now and then and her mother was admitted to the hospital due to great sadness.
The father explained that his daughter is married and has three children, and that her husband also works for a family in one of the villas in Shorouk City, adding that the family has been living in a tragedy since her absence, and they do not know if she is okay or something bad has befallen her.
