Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni, along with Foreign Minister Antonio Taiani and Defense Gido Crossito, faces accusations of collusion in the genocide in the Gaza Strip, according to a lawsuit filed by a Palestinian human rights organization to the International Criminal Court.

Meloni said, in an interview with Italian government television (Rai), that she was officially informed of the case that a group “Lawyers and Legal for Palestine” was submitted, signed by about 50 people of law professors, lawyers and public figures.
The text of the lawsuit stated that the Italian government, through its support for the Israeli government, especially by providing it with deadly weapons, made itself a partner in genocide and crimes against humanity committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
