A 23-year-old housewife died, a few days after giving birth, in a private hospital, amid accusations from her family that there was a serious medical error during the birth process, which led to the deterioration of her health condition and her subsequent death.
The family confirmed in exclusive statements to Cairo 24 that the deceased, a mother of two children, one of whom was a newborn and the other a year and a half old, was in good health before giving birth, and that what happened was the result of medical negligence during the operation, which caused a rupture in the uterus, which led to internal bleeding and a rapid deterioration of her condition, they said.

The family of the deceased indicated that they were surprised by the deterioration of her condition immediately after birth, as she showed symptoms of severe swelling and a blue color in the body, and the condition was not treated in the appropriate medical manner at the required time.
Holding the person responsible for the accident accountable
The family called on the relevant authorities to open an urgent investigation into the incident, review all medical procedures that took place during and after the birth, and hold the person responsible for the accident accountable, especially after it became clear – they said – that there were previous complaints against the same doctor in similar incidents.
The mother of the deceased confirmed that her daughter was in perfect health before entering the hospital, adding: My daughter was happy with her new baby, and she became a victim of neglect and a clear medical error.. Who is raising her children now?
