Today, the Ezbet Badran area in Shubra El Kheima, Qalyubia Governorate, witnessed the outbreak of a fire in a 5-storey residential property on Abbas Khalil Street, branching off from the Shabouri Canal.
Major General Ashraf Gaballah, Director of Qalyubia Security, received a notification from the security services stating that a fire had broken out on the last floor of the property. Immediately, civil protection forces, led by Major General Haitham Shehata, Director of the Civil Protection Department in Qalyubia, moved to the site of the accident, and a number of fire engines were dispatched to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the property.
The forces were able to completely control the fire and began cooling work, without causing any injuries or loss of life. A report has been prepared regarding the incident, and the causes of the fire are being determined
