Hours before the start of the Moroccan championship match between Pyramids and RS Berkane African Super In 2025, the story of the football struggle between Egyptian and Moroccan clubs for the continental championship title returns to the forefront again, in a scene that has become familiar in recent decades.

As for the Moroccan clubs, they collected 5 titles, with two titles for Raja, and one title each for Moghreb Fes, Wydad, and Nahdet Berkane.
