The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a post supported by pictures that was circulated on social networking sites, which included the driver of a private car colliding with a person and passing him while he was riding on top of the car in Alexandria.
A driver who hit a cyclist in Alexandria was arrested
Upon examination, it was revealed that on the 18th of this month, the Bab Sharqi Police Department was informed that the driver of a private car, a resident of the First Montazah Police Department, collided with a person, a resident of the Sidi Gaber Police Department, as he was riding a bicycle on one of the roads in the department’s department, causing him to suffer fractures and various bruises on his body.
The car used in the incident – with a valid license – and its driver were seized, and when he was confronted, he admitted to committing the incident as referred to. Legal measures were taken and the competent authorities took over the investigation.
