In a world where unrest and tensions are escalating day after day, and positions change according to political and security developments; The Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, stands out as one of the rare examples of steadfastness in principles and clarity in positions, as the Kingdom is not satisfied with seasonal statements or positions, but rather builds its position on a vision rooted in its ancient diplomatic history and the culture of the people and society built on the constants of religion and the values of Arabism, and on the firm conviction that peace is not a tactical choice but rather a way of life.

Therefore, the confirmation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great king of the country, may God protect and preserve him, regarding the agreement reached to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, after two years of killing, displacement and hunger, came to embody this authentic approach in Bahrain. When His Majesty described this day as “a day for peace in the Middle East and the world,” that was not just a diplomatic phrase, but rather an affirmation of Bahrain’s vision for a safer and more just world, a vision It believes in the right of people to life and dignity, and supports efforts aimed at stopping the bleeding, regardless of its location and whoever’s limbs.

Bahrain has, and still will, believe that peace is the best strategic choice for all the peoples of the Earth, and that development and prosperity cannot flourish in the shadow of violence, extremism, terrorism, and murder. From this deep belief, the Kingdom’s continued support for every endeavor aimed at ending conflicts in the region and the world, and restoring hope to its people in a future of security and stability, has come.

Also, His Majesty the King’s affirmation of thanks to the United States of America for its mediation efforts was not just a diplomatic statement, but rather an acknowledgment of the importance of international cooperation in making peace, and consolidating the principle of dialogue instead of conflict, because Bahrain believes that the world cannot live on isolated islands, and that the stability of the Middle East means the stability of the entire world.

While Bahrain stresses the importance of the parties to the conflict’s commitment to implementing the agreement and bearing their responsibilities, it continues its firm and supportive position for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian Arab people to establish their independent and viable state on their land, with Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions. This represents a firm position that has not changed despite the change in circumstances, and an original principle that has not been shaken by storms.

The message of Bahrain today, as it has always been, is that peace is not weakness but moral strength, and that dialogue is not concession but courage in the face of hatred, and in this turbulent world, Bahrain’s voice remains calm and measured, but powerful in its impact, because it stems from a sincere belief that humanity deserves another opportunity to live in peace.
