The Bahraini champions are preparing for a busy day of competition in various sports within the “Asian Games”, where the events are divided into mixed martial arts, athletics, boxing, e-sports, futsal, golf, Muay Thai, taekwondo and triathlon.
In mixed martial arts (MMA), the Bahraini champions will compete in 4 highly anticipated final matches, starting with the player Sultan Ahmed at 11:00 am facing the Kazakhstani Sanzhar Kartia for the 65 kg gold, followed by the match between Alder Al Drov and the Hong Kong player Kaderdinov in the 60 kg weight at 1:40 pm, then the 65 kg final with the participation of Abdul Hakim Babayev against the Saudi Hassan Al Qattan, and a conclusion. The finals match between Ibrahim Khalidov and Saudi Ibrahim Al-Ajam in the 70 kg weight category at 2:20 pm.
In athletics, runner Ibrahim Al-Adeeb competes in the first round of the 200 meters race for boys, while runner Sheikha Ahmed participates in the same race at the girls’ level.
The preliminary round of 60 kg boxing for boys will begin at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, while the electronic sports competitions will begin with the participation of player Yousef Fawaz in the E-FOOTBALL competition in the same place.
At the futsal level, the girls’ team will play its second group league match against the Hong Kong team at 12:30 pm, while the boys’ team will face the Afghanistan team at 8:00 pm, and all matches will be held at the Khalifa City Sports Hall.
In golf, the individual competitions at the Royal Golf Club conclude with the participation of Khaled Muhammad, Abdul Rahman Hassan, and Yaqoub Youssef.
Tanishi will also compete in the semi-finals of the Muay Thai competition, weighing less than 54 kg, against Thai Bimlabat, while player Abdulaziz Al-Amir will compete in the round of 16 in Taekwondo, weighing less than 73 kg, against Afghan Sudis.
The events will conclude with the mixed doubles triathlon competition at 6:30 am from the Sofitel Hotel, in one of the strongest multi-challenge events.
