3 criminal elements were killed after an exchange of fire with the police in Edfu

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, one of the mountainous areas in the city of Edfu, north of Aswan Governorate, witnessed the killing of three outlaw members, after exchanging gunfire with policemen. The bodies were deposited in the morgue at the disposal of the investigation authorities, to take the necessary legal measures regarding the incident.

The details come back when the security authorities in the city of Edfu, north of Aswan Governorate, received notification stating the presence of a number of outlaws in a desert area specifically located in the Hajer Abu Khalifa area of ​​Wadi Al-Saayda, affiliated with the Center District.

As soon as the criminal investigation team in Aswan Governorate was notified, a plan was immediately drawn up to deal with the criminal elements.

Based on the instructions of Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al-Azzazi, Director of the Criminal Branch at the Edfu Police Station, their location was determined and a security team was formed consisting of: Major Muhammad Al-Hain, Chief of Investigations at the Edfu Police Station, and Captains Amjad Ihab and Muhammad Shaheen, Assistant Detectives.

After the policemen arrived at their hiding place, the outlaws began shooting at the police, and then an exchange of gunfire began between the police and the outlaws.

The shooting resulted in the death of 3 outlaw criminals, and their bodies were deposited in the Edfu public morgue at the disposal of the investigating authorities to take the necessary legal measures regarding the incident.

The necessary report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to begin their investigations to determine the reasons behind it.
